How many choices do we have to get to the right one,
The heart of many things we do is based around what appears more fun,
To pick up your cross and walk with Christ,
Means to really kill your flesh in sacrifice,
There are many things that attract and catch the eye,
But the real question is are we ready to die?
In the chaos and weirdness of these days we live in,
Our choices can set us up for real heartache to begin,
The anger, the hostility, the drama of today,
Will only last if we do not find the other way,
God continues to be the beginning and the end,
He knows how each of our choices will bring us around the same loop again,
Because we are destined to repeat certain patterns my friend,
God allows us the free will to choose for ourself,
Even though it pains Him when we choose to put His command up on a shelf,
The hurtful things we tend to continue to do,
Is because we forget to seek God first in everything we pursue,
Choices can definitely make or break us,
They tend to make living normal lives more dangerous,
Seek God, pray, and meditate on His word,
Let His voice be the one that makes the choice for you as you live and you learn.
Remember that God loves you always.
