The peace that God brings to all of us in the midst of trauma,
Makes us appreciate that He is our source of no drama,
The fact is that these seasons were birthed out of growth,
Will have us thinking we can sing our life song with a different note,
The questions that we ask may not have quick answers,
But God’s love for us can dispel the effects of any cancer,
The illness that spreads into the hearts and minds of all,
Makes it truly important to be open to His call,
And the bible says, “Take heed unless you fall.”
We do approach these changes with a bit of fear,
But we must remember God is the one that makes the confused path clear,
What we can depend on is our God to make a way,
He sees our hurt and our pain then wipes our tears away,
The battle is not yours it’s the Lord’s,
This world will go away but the Holy Spirit is yours,
God is so loving and so gracious to allow us chance after chance,
These seasons we experience feel like a spiritual dance,
The breath we take every moment of everyday,
Reminds us that with God there will always be a better way.
Remember that God loves you always.
