“Faithfully Speaking”/Poem by T.H.M/Weekly Sunday Inspiration

The lost dreams we continue to believe too hard to obtain,
Is the building blocks of a lie that the enemy tries to maintain,
God gives us all vision of the promise that was made long ago,
Many people that came before us had to see for themselves to know,
That God’s ways are not our ways and the timing of things are not the same,
The choices we make are what eventually takes away,
The steps it takes to make these turbulent times okay,
And the heart of us continues to feel led astray,
Instead of buckling down firmly in the word,
We act as if the promises of better are still unheard,
That faith in God is a process we must continue to learn,
For His love and His kindness is given to us unearned,
The guilt and the shame is Satan’s tactics to keep us off kilter,
This is why so many of us say and do things with no filter,
When the truth resides in the pure vision that our spiritual lense will show,
That we are destined for a heavenly promise greater than what the world has here below,
To keep pushing towards the prize in Christ Jesus to grow,
And to become the conquerors for God’s kingdom so the world may know,
We may have been rocked from the place we used to stand on,
But our Faith will carry us through until all the fear is gone,
To fulfill our destiny to build upon,
And every season God allows us to experience is an honor within itself,
Just believe that God is still there, He just needs all of us to know Him for ourselves.

Remember God loves you always and will never leave you. We got this because God got us!
