“Chaos Breakers”/Poem by T.H.M/Weekly Sunday Inspiration

What used to be is no more yet we hold on for dear life,
The bitterness and the anger that comes from regretful years gone by,
The emptiness of the disappointment we all can no longer deny,
This is what tests our Faith when we hold all that chaos inside,
Though God will challenge us to look at our potential and self worth,
He has equipped us with all the provisions we have needed since birth,
He gave us a way to not believe all these false world trappings,
This is why people of Faith in the midst of heartache are still laughing,
The word is our guide in a land that is not our own,
The pain and confusion of these times can make any person feel alone,
Yet God reminds us that this world is not our home,
The numbers of people who are suffering in silence,
Make the enemy come in with danger and violence,
As heirs to the throne we must be mindful of those in need,
All of us must stick together to combat the lies indeed,
God gave us community because He knows we are stronger together,
That the bond of true relationship survives any weather,
Everyone is an opportunity to reveal His light,
In a world that is so consumed by the darkness of night,
The foundation of who we are has been rocked to its core,
This time we are in is our destiny of what we are purposed for,
We cannot be consumed by what we hear and see around us,
In these times we must lean heavily on God whom we trust,
His word, His truth and His path is a must,
“Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,”(Ephesians 3:20)
To God be all the glory and honor who brought us up from dust,
He equipped us with the tools that makes us eternal warrior tough!

Remember God loves you always. We got this because God got us!

Sincerely,
Terryn Horton-Morton
