Our confidence is not as certain as it used to be,
The non stop uncertainty has had an affect on you and me,
The things we treasured and held on to are not as solid anymore,
We are anxious and grieving the days we used to have before,
Our faith and our purpose are being tested more and more,
The many ups and downs of this life are certain,
There is no one hiding behind the green curtain,
“Man who is born of woman Is of few days and full of trouble.” Job 14:1
God’s word is the lamp at our feet to help us navigate through the rubble,
Our thoughts and our feelings are as interchangeable as air,
One day something makes us angry and the next day we do not care,
God created us to withstand any storm,
We cannot afford to think life on earth is our norm,
In God we have the power to weather any storm,
Even though we feel stretched to the limit,
God’s children know there is a change coming because we feel it,
Everything we once knew is not what we will know in the years to come,
The trials in this life will have us to believe the enemy has won,
But we must realize that Jesus has not left us nor is He gone,
We cannot think that we are stranded and all alone,
God’s love and His hand is always on us more than our cellular phones,
The truth about this life is forever just beyond our grasp,
This is why in these times we must continue to hold fast,
To our innocence in what child like faith looks and feels like,
Our confidence in our Savior is the only thing that’s certain so we must hold on to Him with all of our might.
Remember God loves you always. You got this because God got us!
