“Growth Spurts”~Poem by T.H.M~Weekly Sunday Inspiration

The strength it took to become who you are today,
Makes us all realize the time spent on unnecessary things moved without delay,
The things we thought were so important before,
We grow and realize they were not worth fighting for,
The people in our circle must be the ones God meant for us to have,
They should support and hold us accountable but provide much needed laughs,
We can remember the times when life seemed so long,
But these last few years we have all learned we all will soon be gone,
The time spent here is precious when it is clothed in purpose,
Things around us can have the ability to become a circus,
The true value of this life is who we choose to be,
God has given free will to you and to me,
Our vision of how the world should work around us,
Often distracts us from what God has instilled within us,
The transition from child to grown up comes with growth,
We start to realize the word of God prepares us to pay the price that we owe,
Each phase of the process comes with hills and valleys,
Thank goodness our mistakes are not written anywhere for people to tally,
This is truly a day that only God can make,
The provision He has given us in the journey reminds us we all have what it takes!

Remember God loves you always. You got this because God got us.
