“Calorie Counter”/Poem by T.H.M/Weekly Sunday Inspiration

Counting the calories of the enemy’s fatty half truths and the sugary hurt feelings of our past,
Are a recipe of spiritual heart conditions that often last,
Making our lives full of toothaches and painful side affects,
That cause our darker sides to come out from the warning signs we neglect,
After injesting so much of the garbage that Satan often whispers to us,
The colorful candies of self-doubt, fear, jealousy, rage, and regret,
Often find us on a sugar spiritual high we do not know we are on,
Until most of our truth and light is almost gone,
God brings about the spiritual calorie tracker within His word,
It helps to keep us focused on losing the extra pounds that the colorful candies incurred,
God brings us a weight loss plan that is 100% effective,
He knows how to get to the heart of us better than any detective,
He puts us on a diet that we most times lose track of,
But we must thank God for His infinite patience and love,
The side affects of the devil’s food are able to be reversed,
Those dreams and visions will no longer suffer from the generational curse,
We can become the created that God believes us to be,
By letting go of all the empty calorie lies and addictive greed,
So that we will finally stand tall as the true examples of what a weight loss warrior should be,
I pray you will use these times we are in to embrace your God given destiny.

Remember God loves you always. You got this because God got us.
