“Greatly Underestimated”/Poem by T.H.M/Weekly Sunday Inspiration

To whom do we owe our gratitude for bringing us through,
All the crazy things we did before up to now will be forgotten and we be made new,
Who we once were cannot be recognized today,
All the sadness, anger, depression and guilt has slowly eased away,
God made us whole to become better humans than we were,
Looking to Him for our victory over the enemy’s lie is the only answer,
Each book of the Bible tells a different tale,
Of a love for us that never fails,
The many chances He has given us to get it right,
The many times we prayed through the sleepless nights,
He listened, He cares about each and every one of us,
The feeling of completion only comes from the manifestation of the true us,
To be grateful is to totally understand,
That everything happens within God’s master plan,
God’s love comes from a place we will never understand,
The prayers we get answered are just one part,
Of the sacrifice and the mercy that comes from God’s heart,
We must be grateful for just being able to open our eyes,
And remember everyone we encounter could be God’s angel in disguise,
God’s goodness towards us comes without pain or stress,
Allow the promise to come forth in helping us reach true happiness.

Remember God loves you always. You got this because God got us.

Sincerely,
Terryn Horton-Morton
