The age where we put away childish things can come at any time,
The thoughts and the impulses of childhood will lose its shine,
The people who surrounded us in the earlier days,
We will come to realize were all just a phase,
The phenomenal thing about aging is that things we once worried about no longer matter,
The enemy’s that once surrounded us begin to scatter,
Looking forward instead of backward comes with maturity,
Being secure within ourselves is what we all should strive to be,
The lack of confidence in who God created within us,
Is something we should all feel comfortable enough to discuss,
Without feeling like we are being cantankerous,
The movement in this body of Christ will not be an easy road,
The weight of responsibility and sacrifice of this flesh is a heavy load,
The representation of something higher than this life is payment we all owe,
Having knowledge of moving on from lesser things is where we need to be,
This world has nothing to give to the spiritual excellence that’s within you and me,
We must be guided by the light that God blazed before each of us,
The drama and chaos we once harbored can become dangerous,
The age of true enlightenment can happen at any time,
We must remember that God’s faithfulness will always outlive every time line.
God loves you always. You got this because God got us.
