“Perspectively Speaking” ~Poem by T.H.M~Weekly Sunday Inspiration

The presence of mind to leave the bitterness behind,
Is the reason why God gives us the ability to unwind,
We need to be better people not just for ourselves,
But for all the people we affect by opening up from being withheld,
From the trauma, the depression, the guilt and the shame,
The enemy will surround us at times with the things that will keep us all chained,
We must focus on what lasts and is the eternal prize to be won,
Following Christ releases us from the confines of the worldly junk food bar none,
To walk a path of righteousness has a different perspective for all of us,
This is where our testimonies come in that we often discuss,
The ability to march ahead despite all we have left behind,
Comes with the truth that God’s favor can no longer be denied.

Remember that God loves you always. You got this because God loves us.
