“The Best Advice About Diamonds” ~Poem by T.H.M ~Weekly Sunday Inspiration

Our trials and setbacks are to be embraced with clarity,
That God did not promise that this life will be lived on just charity,
God is clear that there is a price to be paid,
Since our ancestors, in the book of Genesis, chose to be slaves,
Even then humans found themselves consistently getting into mischief,
Yet God was always there to protect us from falling off the cliff,
The word is clear about the part we all need to play,
Even the chaos in this modern world must be faced God’s way,
We seek the answer to the end of all of these tests,
But still God seeks for us to live our very best,
Jude 1:24-25 says, “Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever.”
Is why we know God will always be way more clever,
Because God has seen every lane of our life and every endeavor,
Yet we continue to fall apart because Satan lays these false traps,
In which most of us continue to follow like treasure maps,
But when we go into the enemy’s territory,
We further leave from the protection of God’s light and God’s glory,
Then we wonder why we are in a wasteland instead of abundance,
And God’s word describes humanity’s fall with redundance,
Because the trials we face are what mining for pure diamonds looks like,
This is why our true value only comes with consistent pressure until we are gems of God’s holy light.

Remember God loves you always. You got this because God got us.

Sincerely,
Terryn Horton-Morton
