Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God. 1 Peter 2:16
The decisions to choose freedom over what we are comfortable with,
Is what makes Jesus’ sacrifice the ultimate gift,
There is pain, and there is suffering when you choose to handle this,
But the word is clear that our faith will overcome the rift,
The courage God requires to become the warriors we were destined to be,
May seem overwhelming when it comes to you, and to me,
Weaping may endure for the night, but joy comes at times from our mourning,
The loss of who we were before we knew Him is like a new day dawning,
The reason I say freedom is because Christ freed us from being bound,
To a world that will never give us what we lost because we have now been found,
His light and His way are what we must run towards,
The ways of this world will not offer permanent rewards,
To be sufficiently ready for all trials that have yet to come,
Is to trust in God and His will bar none,
The struggles of this life are not going to last,
But we must endure them to understand the better that God has,
We must trust in Jesus to bring us through to our freedom,
Because He is the only supplier of salvation to all that needs Him.
Remember that God loves you always. You got this because God got us.
Sincerely,
