There is strength in having the RIGHT people in our corner,
We must hold on to our faith like the biggest of hoarder,
God is the everything that we need, whether winter, fall, spring, or summer,
Every season of our life should leave us in wonder,
At how we made it through without having to go under,
The sea of life that often tries to drown us with resentment and sorrow,
At times, making us believe there will not be a better tomorrow,
But I am a witness to the power of Christ Jesus that changes hearts and minds,
The sacrifice that Jesus made is more than just divine,
The truth of the story, which is hidden within the biblical text,
Opens our eyes to the realm of God to face what’s next,
The battle is not ours it is the Lord’s,
But we must be diligent and understand that this world is a fraud,
All the tangible things we think are so important,
Are not real and will fade away whether through air or coffin,
So the life we live now should be purposed often,
Jesus’ love for us is why we can live our ministry in the open,
This is why we must be obedient to the calling that God has on our lives,
The strength in this identity makes us grow and be stronger husbands and wives,
Because together we are better and will not compromise,
Our worth or vision that the enemy tries to destroy with lies,
“No weapon formed against us will prosper,” so we have no choice but to rise.
Remember that God loves you always. You got this because God got us.
