Free Your Thinking 💭 ~ Poem by T.H.M~Weekly Sunday Inspiration

We are what we think should be what we address,
The bonds we make with stinking thinking is the ultimate test,
The fact that our lives are made up of decisions,
Whether to think positively or suffer through derision,
It’s a slope of recovery from who we were before,
The old way of thinking shouldn’t last forever and a day if not more,
When we look at the hurts of yesterday,
We can believe that God is standing at the door of our tomorrow ready to take the pain away,
But the thing about making decisions is goes hand in hand with our thinking,
It makes us remember what has happened but we can move forward while receiving,
The proper tools to fight off the urge to relapse,
The weapon of truth is what we have to use to get over our pasts,
When we think about the goodness of God,
We will find forgiveness and that life is not so hard,
Even though we still are carrying around some battle scars,
To trust God’s will despite what we see,
Will have a lasting effect despite what we may believe,
Every generation after us is being transformed by our yes,
Our thinking today will only make us stagnant or propel us toward a future that will survive any test,
Because you better believe that God always knows what’s best.

Remember that God loves you always. You got this because God got us.
