It’s hard to forgive ourselves for the mistakes we make,
Being human is at times a hard pill to take,
We are given but one life to live and do the best we can,
This is why it’s important to be aware of who you call friend,
We make decisions based on feelings and beliefs,
We also find ourselves hesitant to go after things too hard to achieve,
The life we go after is our God-given right,
But we must be prepared with the knowledge that we will have to fight,
Because when destiny calls it does not wait silently for an answer,
It hits every cell of your being and makes your heart leap as if it’s a dancer,
The truth about our existence is that God has so much more,
The dreams, the goals, and the accomplishments are so great that He has in store,
But we must be willing to make the sacrifice of self,
To walk into something much greater than ourselves,
This is why the enemy will continue to trick us to put our gifts on the shelves,
To convince us to walk away from the light to live a certain hell,
Here on earth, because of the past mistakes we can not seem to dispell,
From our psyche so we continue to harm ourselves,
Instead of grasping onto the knowledge that we are more than conquerors,
And our souls are not the trade-off for becoming wanderers,
In a world that tries to teach us to be squanderers,
Of the blessings that God meant for us before we were born,
So we can’t afford to ignore,
That God has favor and blessings in store,
Because there is no weapon that can formed….against us!
Remember, God loves you always. You got this because God got us.
