Rise to the Task/Poem by T.H.M/Weekly Sunday Inspiration

The peace in times of victory and strife,
Are what allows our faith to come to light,
When there is chaos all around and there is no one to be found,
God steps in to fight our battles and turns our sadness all the way around,
The season we are in may be heavy and sometimes grim,
But I am here to tell you that your strength comes from within,
And with God you will always win,
The darkness that sometimes tries to overwhelm your light,
Can never take hold because there is a truth inside,
And what has been holding you back from your purpose will have to run and hide,
There are miracles and brights spots everywhere,
Do not give up because life at times seems unfair,
Because right around the corner God provides a hidden stair,
A case of joy that’s not rare,
Keep smiling, keep pressing towards that Holy prize,
There are so many clues to get there hidden in disguise,
And remember God always fulfills destinies and that is no lie,
1 Peter 5:10,”And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.”
You will find yourself at an open doorway with your Faith guiding you through,
So do not be dismayed and do not be discouraged,
Your Divine power is God given so you may flourish,
God’s love is everlasting and His grace will nourish,
The brokenness within us so that we may all find true courage.

Remember God loves you always.

Sincerely,
Terryn Horton-Morton
